Amazing place with a lots of history. A must visit for Aviation enthusiasts. Children will love it.

A nice small museum of aviation history and its development in Sharjah located in the original airport building from the 1920s. Nice exhibition with historic aircraft on display and lots of pictures and even video documentation on the old airfield operation.

fascinating museum about the first flight service in the emirates, set in the former airport.  great exhibits with just the right amount of information.  can also see several old planes.  there were also additional exhibits about aviation and the history of flight.  excellent museum in sharjah, a short distance from king faisal mosque area.

A truly hidden gem in UAE, one of the highest points in our stay. Please reserve a good time to visit the museum, the preserved airplanes and everything on display. They made a wonderful job in telling the history of aviation, with rich presentations, billboards and real samples of objects and even flying animals. Should be awarded as one of the most interesting aviation museums available.

My daughter Eva and I visited the AL Mahatta Museum and it was very exciting. It's a place that you should visit if your kids love aircrafts. They have many on display and have the whole history of airplanes and engines too.

Does show a lot of aviation history but not very interesting to visit. Kids interested in planes will love this museum

A treat to watch old cars in good condition.A must watch for car lovers along with family.

Best place to learn more about history of the first airport in UAE 
They got original and re constructed models of old aircrafts where you can explore and learn how travelers used to travel on air during olden days...

This museum is not over crowded....you can relax and explore and the museum tour guide is soo friendly

It's a nice place to visit for one time..  but there is nothing for excitement.

It's amazing place to visit specially if you have interest in history of Aerospace. Good to stuff to explore and learn for the children, Starting the wide picture gallery to the evolving history of Air Travel. Not only this children can actually experience to sit inside the cockpit to enjoy and feel like a real pilot. Staff is really friendly, Free visitors parking available inside... Avoid taking food/beverages inside as it's not allowed.

Great place with an avalanche of deep insight concerning the transformation of the aviation industry in Sharjah and UAE as a whole. It speaks volumes

Al mahatta .. the first airport in UAE.. now an awesome museum and an excellent knowledge center for aerodynamic enthusiasts

It's very interesting place .only 10 dh you spend then see Lot of things about aeroplane .It's very old time  maybe 1960's AIR port here before same place of Mahatta Museum .there is also mummy of birds .old weapons  too much information about Aviation industry. Every thing is very important and historic .At the end they show Documentary of old Air port how they work before .also show how people's live before in this emrites .very interesting thing .you must visit here .

Excellent museum with guided tours and an informative film. Well presented informative that gives historical context.

Wonderful place. A leaf from history, reminds you of a different world. Good place for the whole family. Highly recommended.

A fantastic place to learn about the history of Sharjah, and to see some excellent planes. Don't miss the old news reel about the British airlines flying to Sharjah back in the 1930s.

Amazing place .. must see .. 10 dirhams ticket price, and 5 dirhams for kids .. very authentic .. will spend one goood hour in it .. and end it with watching an old movie
