Extremely Disappointing – Not Worth the Money

We paid 600 AED expecting a premium escape room experience — what we got was two very basic rooms with no immersion, minimal atmosphere, and barely any puzzles. It felt low-effort and not worth the price.

I contacted Hungarian Games privately to request a refund. They responded once with excuses and refused, then replied again only after I posted public comments — warning me about “cyber defamation” for sharing my honest experience. And they also delted the comments i wrote on their Instagram posts.

No one insulted anyone. I simply explained what we paid for and what we actually got. That’s not defamation — that’s consumer feedback. There are far better escape room options in Dubai. This one wasn’t worth it.

The place is fun for group to play some escape rooms and board games. They have plenty of roams and large area but the rooms do have alot of wear and tear and are quite basic compared to other ones in the market. They do have a 50 discount on discount cards. The staff are lovely and friendly.

Perfect place for family and friends reunion or gatherings, Corporate events. The escape rooms are made every level of difficulties... Best part you can take lil ones along with you. Our favourite was the psycho and the Jailbreak. The staff is super friendly and they have a good cafe with coffee and snacks options. They also have small boardgame cafe with painting room for kids.

Fun place to spend 3-4hrs.... The prices are not that expensive. Each room can accommodate 6players.

We were a group of 10 looking for a new experience, and one of our friends found Hungarian Games. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. After our 60-minute escape room adventure, we got to play unlimited board games, which was a fantastic bonus.

We split into two groups for the escape room. Group A couldn't escape without several hints from the helpful staff via walkie-talkie, while Group B cracked the code just in time! The puzzles were challenging and engaging, and the adrenaline rush with the clock ticking made it so exciting.

Afterward, we enjoyed some hilarious board games and fun chitchat. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a must-visit spot in Dubai. Plus, we received a great discount on the prices. Overall, Hungarian Games is a happening place that's perfect for a memorable outing with friends!

Very bad experience, nothing in the escape room worked, We used the groupon for 95dhs and it wasn’t worth any of it. Don’t recommend at all.

REALLY BAD, NOTHING WORKED IT WASN’T SCARY WOULD RATHER PLAY CHESS THAN SPENDING AN HOUR IN THIS PLACE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL NOTHING IN THE ESCAPE ROOM WORKED AND NOT SCARY AT ALL HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS.

Hungarian Games was a really wonderful experience. We had booked the "Haunted Escape Room" which trust me was really difficult but at the same time it was really interesting. Wouldn't recommend the Haunted Escape Room to anyone who hasn't been to an escape room before (as it might be a bit too challenging). However, anyone that really wants a challenge should for sure go for the Haunted Room. In total they have 5 different escape rooms (including the Haunted Room) and the level of difficulty of each room varies.

Apart from the escape rooms, they have a wide range of activities/games that can be played. They also have a Café (which sells Scandinavian food).

We had purchased our tickets through GroupOn as it was cheaper there. However, we had to call Hungarian Games up to make a reservation for the room (this is really important).

The overall experience was wonderful and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys solving puzzles or just loves Escape Rooms. Hungarian Games is a must visit place.

Last but not least, a big shout out to Greg. He was a wonderful host. Keep up the good work !!!!
