Watch King Fahad's Fountain

Visible from all across the city, King Fahad’s Fountain is a highly appreciated Jeddah landmark and the world's tallest water fountain. The fountain was built in the 1980's and is listed in Guinness World Records, with a reach of over one thousand feet. The salt-water fountain was donated to the city of Jeddah by the late King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz. The best time to see the fountain is after dark, when hundreds of colored lights illuminate the arc of water as it falls down to the sea below against the starry sky. One of the best points from where to watch the fountain and its show is the Jeddah corniche's waterfront - across from the Ritz Carlton hotel.
