UNESCO Al Ain Oasis

This 3,000 acre oasis provides insights into how the region's inhabitants began taming the desert 4,000 years ago. The Al Ain Oasis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is an educational Eco-Center and an extensive system of shaded pathways that wind through some 147,000 different date palm species and some working plantations.
