I recently attended a show at The Courtyard Playhouse in Dubai With Sparkle Foundation, and it was a truly memorable experience! The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and full of creative energy.
The performers were incredibly talented - their improv skills and stage presence kept the audience engaged and laughing throughout.

What I appreciated most was the genuine passion for theatre you can feel the moment you walk in. It’s clear that everyone involved puts their heart into the performance. 👏🏻👏🏻😂😂

Hi parents,
Our 4-year-old son had so much fun at the summer camp in 2025 and, for the first time, went on stage with his new friends. He was very excited and absolutely loved it. We’ve already registered him for the new term for September 2025.
Next year we are planning to register at least 2-3 summer camp weeks ;)
Great thanks to all Courtyard Playhouse people as they are amazing, kind, helpful, positive, sincere…

One of the best improv theatres I’ve ever been to. Volunteers to performers to each n every person in the establishment is extremely warm n welcoming. Catch all their events through out the walk just RSVP for free n enjoy 2 hours of live entertainment 🙌🏾

Just finished the 6 week Don't Panic course at The Courtyard Playhouse, and what an experience it was!

While The Playhouse has long been lauded as a beautiful venue with great improv classes for adults and kids alike, I'd like to make a special mention here. About our teacher Ahmed Achrafi.

Ash, as he is better known, has always been one of the most popular performers at the Monday and Wednesday night shows. So here's to hm:
Ash.
I've seen you on stage many, many times,  but interacting with you in this role was a revelation. Your passion and love for the art is endearing. When you talk about performing, it's quiet and respectful, and so full of emotion, that the listener can't help but want to do it! As I did.
You paid attention to every single person, and through the course, helped them hone their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. You pushed without being pushy,  and you made sure no one got lost in the background, no matter how shy or awkward they felt. This is what a good teacher does.
On a personal level, you helped me begin to ease control over the narrative (on stage and in my life),  something I always struggle with.
Thank you for everything, and I do hope to be able to learn more from you in the future.

A big thank you also to the Courtyard team - Hadeel, Jana, Marie, and more - who made sure we made the most of our time there. See you all very soon for more.

I've been attending improv shows at the Courtyard Playhouse for many years now and have always enjoyed it! I finally decided to try the improv classes for adults earlier this year and can honestly say it is changing the way my mind works.

I specifically want to improve my public speaking skills, become more confident, to not hold myself back due to overthinking, to reconnect with my creative and playful sides and to develop a healthier mindset towards failure - the monthly mashup improv classes have definitely helped with all of these! And I am looking forward to starting the Don't Panic workshop to continue on this journey of self development!

Everyone on their team is also incredibly friendly and helpful! All the instructors that I have worked with through the monthly mashup classes - Ash, Kyle, Salman - have been fantastic: supportive, inclusive, and making sure that everyone participates and feels seen and of course, has fun!

It is an absolute joy to attend shows here as well as learn more about improv at this beautiful theatre ♥️

I’ve been attending improv classes at The Courtyard Playhouse for three years and yet every time I walk through those doors I’m still thrilled and animated at the just the mere thought of being a part of the theatre. The classes are life changing and the shows are mind-blowing; the perfect thing to do for a family fun night, and I can almost guarantee that your laughter will stay with you even hours after the shows have ended! The courtyard team are incredibly talented and they always find a way to make you feel like you’re part of something bigger. My second home and extended family. 💛

We had an amazing time at the playhouse, lovely venue, staff and performances! Will come again!

We saw the SING IT and Theatre Sports performances on Tuesday and just watched Maestro on Thursday - SUPER fun and highly recommended

This place is one of a kind in the entire UAE. The staff are amazingly friendly, so helpful, always have great communication and do their level best to accommodate your needs! An amazing centre for drama education and entertainment. My experience was nothing short of perfect 😊

Such a hidden gem. I brought all my friends and family . The shows are spectacular. Then I started taking classes and got addicted I even signed my cousins to the kids classes .

Rsvp to one of the shows and you will understand what I mean. Just go to the website and try the evening shows.

Best thing you can do in Dubai with family and friends. Classes are life changing for kids, mind blowing for adults. Great community that you can be a part of and the only artistic venue in Dubai with multiple shows every week for kids and adults. They also have corporate training for companies which has helped me a lot in business.

If you are looking for good family fun that embraces your children's imagination and gives it an opportunity to showcase it, then the courtyard playhouse is the place to be...

This is the place to be for all of theatre/performative arts lovers in Dubai. The venue is small and amazing, and people working there are lovely and committed.

It has such a cool atmosphere and their shows are amazing. Their talented staff is always ready to train you to be the best you can be, but not without the amazing volunteering and performing opportunities Courtyard Playhouse offers. 

Improv nights and King Gong are highly entertaining.

A real place in Dubai. Amazing events and plays. Super cute place and the staff are amazing.
