The Child Museum is an interactive edutainment intellectual entity, gathering all the family members together in a tour through time and place to discover Egypt’s past, present, and aspire to the future. The Child Museum has an activity center occupying the southern pavilion behind the Museum including The "Discovery Hall" is one section of the activity center; It displays all the necessary equipment for a child to practice various hobbies and arts, such as drawing on wood or leather with paint and water colors, weaving on carpet looms, or painting on glass and cardboard, The "Information Hall" comprises a great number of books, video and cassette tapes, pictures, slides, and multimedia CD-ROMs, as well as the river Nile Hall, the hall of deserts, the red sea hall, and the museum park. Also, there are a spacious garden and outdoor kids' play area.
