Sharjah Fountains
One of the largest fountains in the Gulf, Sharjah Fountain shoots water jets 100 metres into the air. The fountain, which was put in place in the late 1970s and has since become a symbol of Sharjah, never ceases to astound tourists. Moreover, there are cybernetic fountains that are more than 220 metres wide and overlook the piazza where guests can enjoy a variety of fountain performances with exhibits mixing lasers, light, video, audio, and movement to create a really mesmerising experience. The restaurants and cafés along the waterfront offer some of the nicest views in town as patrons enjoy their meals while gazing out over the magnificent piece of art that is the Khaled Lagoon.
