After three years of restoration work, Royal Chariots Museum is reopened on 31 October 2020! Take your kids and explore together the greatness of the Egyptian history, importance of this museum, its formation and rare artifacts. This museum was established during the reign of Khedive Ismail and it’s the fourth of its kind in the world, includes different royal carriages used by kings and rulers of that era including children’s carriages in addition to the chariots that had been used in many official occasions, horses of the royal family, clothes of the horse guards, different uniforms in that era, wonderful paintings and so many more to admire. With special needs in mind, there are; Braille cards explaining all the artifacts for the visually impaired, paved corridors and ramps have also been constructed to facilitate the movement of wheelchairs, Indicative panels placed in all halls, using sign language, in addition to allocating toilets for people with special abilities.
