The Picnic Area at the Nofa Bird Centre is a unique concept in Saudi Arabia. Guests can visit the Nofa Bird Centre's four aviaries and interact with a wide range of birds, including parrots, cockatiels, love birds, budgerigars, quail, partridge, guinea fowl, and pheasants. Macaws, owls, and larger parrots live in smaller aviaries. Ostriches can be seen in larger outdoor cages. Visitors are welcome to feed the ostriches from a safe distance. The Centre features several outdoor seating places as well as numerous playground installations that are perfect for family picnics. Every Friday, you can bring your own food (no BBQs allowed) and enjoy a family picnic! Indoor seating is restricted at the Centre, with both Arabic and Western sitting types available. The entrance fee is SR 60 per person (including VAT). Individual indoor seating areas are available for hire at a cost of SR 100 per hour (including VAT).
