Here's a classic one- that we may have forgotten about! Paint some pasta different colours, set to dry and thread together with some string, yarn or ribbon. If you are conscious of teaching your kids not to waste food, you can also do this with toilet roll. Paint the toilet rolls and then cut them into discs. Thread them through to make a necklace. A great idea to let mum know you're thinking of her- a great one for mother's day!
