After three years of rejuvenation, the Baron Empain's Palace finally reopened for visitors on June 30, 2020! This architectural masterpiece was founded by Baron Edward Louis Joseph Empain between 1907 and 1911, designed by Alexandre Marcel and decorated by Georges-Louis Claude in European and Indian style, with a mysterious method makes never to lose the sun, while the palace tower rotates 360 degrees every hour, providing a panoramic view to see everything that goes on around! Among the wonders of the palace, the unmatched clock, that calculates time in minutes, hours, days, months, and years, while showing changes in moon faces and temperatures, also, it’s said that the palace is connected to underground tunnel that linking it to the Basilica Church where the Baron was buried. The palace also features luxurious gardens, Buddha statues, marble columns, amazing Greek ornaments on ceilings, windows & doors, and many other of valuable artifacts.
