The park also is a home to the newly discovered Ayyubid wall, constructed by Salah El Din more than 800 years ago, and surrounded by significant historic destinations such as Egyptian Museum, the Giza Pyramids and Citadel. There are also wheelchair-friendly pathways throughout the park. Al-Azhar Park organizes art workshops for children weekly and you can take tours to enjoy the scenery with electric cars.
