Abdul Raouf Khalil Museum

Step back in time, explore and discover 2,500-years old history of Jeddah at Abdul Raouf Khalil Museum! The museum is one of the oldest historical places in the Jeddah, has been classified into three segments, the first one highlights the old Saudi heritage and the lives of the early tribes, the second one highlights the Ottoman Empire, while the last one is concerned about the European development after the First World War when King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud conquered the region and founded the modern state of Saudi Arabia. The museum also features amazing architecture with wooden carvings and large collection of artifacts belonging to the Ottoman Turks and the fishermen tribes.
