ABC Flash Cards FREE Printable

Flash cards are a great way to expose kids to the alphabet, sounds and vocabulary. In fact there are so many ways to use them including for older kids. Download and print our cards and check out some fun ideas below.

1. Alphabet puzzle: Lay out picture cards face up on one side of the table and the sound cards on the other. Have them match them up.

2. Alphabet Treasure Hunt: Cut up the cards and hide the picture cards around the house. Each child takes turns to find one picture card and match it to the letters.

3. Print our the cards twice and play Memory where you place all cards face down and have to find the matching cards.

Word Games for the older kids:

4. Using only the letter cards, flip over a card and name as many words as you can think of starting with that letter.

5. Choose 5 letter cards and lay them facing up on the table. Create a sentence in which each word begins with the letters on the selected cards.
