Whether you live in Abu Dhabi or are planning a visit from another part of the UAE, there is so much going on in AD right now! Between fun events, adventurous activities and indoor and outdoor play, there’s something for everyone in Abu Dhabi.

By booking through the QiDZ app, you can also score some great deals to make your weekend or month ahead more affordable. Here’s the roundup of what’s on in Abu Dhabi and the best deals for this coming month:

If you’re a sports fan, or your kids are, it’s the right time to grab your tickets for the Mubadala Tennis Open in Abu Dhabi between the 5th and the 12th of February. Watch ladies singles and doubles compete for an $800,000 prize and even meet and greet the players in the fan zone. If you’d just like to get outdoors and try some delicious food, listen to entertainment, and support local businesses, then head out to Ripe Market on Al Marya Island. It’s the perfect day out with the family.

It’s also a good idea to plan ahead, because your young kids won’t want to miss Masha and the Bear Live on stage at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on April 29th and 30th. With a 15% discount from the 1st of February from kids and tickets starting at 95 dirhams, both you and your kids will be happy to see some of your favorite characters and you’ll be glad that you got your tickets early.

If your kids haven’t yet been to Warner Bros World or Ferrari World, or they loved it so much that they’ve been itching to go back, now is the time that you can get a good price on tickets (35 dirhams cash back at WB!) and be their super hero. If you want to show your kids a special day out but also have them learn and experience something new, than the National Aquarium is the right place to take them. With 46,000 animals and 10 zones, your visit will be a real marine journey. At Kidzania this month, you can take your kids to enjoy some interesting and engaging role play and get 30 dirhams cash back each, even on weekends and holidays.

With the winter rain, it’s also a good idea to plan for a day of indoor play. At Adventure Zone they’ve got climbing walls, a trampoline park, zipline and caving, so that there’s no way they can get bored! For younger ones, check out Kidoos play area in Deerfields mall that’s designed for pretend play, Lego play, and even has a snow park. If your kids need to get their wiggles out, there are exceptional deals on at Orange Wheels with 20% off at both branches and at Fun City Abu Dhabi, there’s a 99 dirhams combo for a day or a 35% off monthly pass for February making a day of play super affordable!

For a very inexpensive or even free day out, check out the Sheikh Zayed Festival that’s on until April with lots of games, rides and activities aimed at kids and entrance for only 5 dirhams. The Shot is a free photography exhibition in Saadiyat Cultural District with over 70,000 photos going as far back as the 1840s. You can stroll around and take in the beautiful pictures with your kids and teach them a little something about capturing memories. While you’re at Saadiyat Cultural District also check out the live music performances at the boardwalk and support local musicians (until the end of Feb).

If you or your older teen are out for some thrills, then check out Skydive Abu Dhabi’s great special deal on a tandem skydive. It might even be a romantic gift for your spouse for Valentine’s Day. For older kids and teens a day kayaking in the mangroves is a wonderful experience as they get to know the local nature, but if you don’t kayak, don’t worry. There’s also a boat cruise on offer through the mangroves for up to 7 people, so you can take your family and friends. Teens will also love a day bowling, listening to beats and eating delicious burgers at Central.

What are you waiting for? Abu Dhabi’s vibe is grooving right now with so much to do and see. Book a fun day out and make the best of your capital city. Why should Dubai have all the fame? Keep the kids busy and yourself happy.
