Santa and The Lost Gift on Stage, The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates
This funny, Christmas family show is full of singing and dancing and is suitable for children aged 2 and above so ideal if you have littles ones who are feeling festive. Taking place on 18 and 19 December, two 45-minute showings will take place each day at 11am and 3pm.

Gingerbread House Making Class, Spontiphoria
Children can enjoy a gingerbread house decorating workshop this season at Spontiphoria. The 90-minute workshop will teach children how to assemble and decorate their own house using cookies, icing, fondant and sweets. Yum! The Snowman Live On Stage, The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates
Art For All has announced a special festive screening of the on-stage production, The Snowman. This magical show has been adapted from Raymond Briggs’ classic tale and has thrilled audiences throughout the world since first appearing on stage over 20 years ago. The show starts at 11am from 22 through to 26 December and prices start from AED 45 per person.

The Ripe Festive Market, Dubai Police Academy Park
The popular market will have a festive twist throughout December, with Santa’s grotto, photos with Santa, Christmas trees for sale, tree lighting ceremony, workshops and more. Plus, they’ll be a wide array of delicious festive foods and beverages to enjoy whilst listing to live festive music. Entry to The Ripe Festival Market is free to enter for under 12s and AED 5 for everyone older.

Winter Wonderland Festive Market, Mall of the Emirates
Explore the magical festive market experience at MOE, which has kids’ workshops, festivities and a Santa meet and greet. Held in partnership with Ripe Market and Ski Dubai until 24 December, it’s located near Ski Dubai. For Market timings and when Santa will appear, check out QiDZ.
Ho-Ho-Holiday Box by Toddle
If you’re looking for something to entertain the kids at home, Toddle’s Holiday Box contains lots of games, activities, DIY kits, experiments and creative ideas to make festive memories over the holidays. Beauty & The Beast Show, Theatre by QE2
A tale as old as time…nothing says Christmas like a Disney spectacle! See this family favorite at the Theatre by QE2 during December. Starting 16 December until 27 December, there are two showings daily (except 20 and 25 December). It’s bound to sell out quickly so book tickets early.

Dubai Festival City Santa Run, Dubai Festival City Mall
Dust off your Santa outfits and get your running shoes ready for the annual Dubai Santa Run this Friday, 11 December. The 1km, 2.5km or 5km fun run takes runners along the canal and starts at 9am. Get a free Santa t-shirt, hat and beard with your registration.

Santa’s Post Office at Eggs & Soldiers, Times Square Centre
Sprinkling some extra magic in the lead up to Christmas is the popular store in Times Square, where children can send their lists off to Santa at the North Pole via their custom-made Post Office. They’ll be accepting mail until the end of December but all letters received before December 18th will receive a handwritten reply from Santa, which will arrive for collection at the store in good time for Christmas.

Kids Festive Baking Classes, The H Dubai
Children aged 4 and above can enjoy holiday festive baking classes starting every morning from 13 December. Recipes will include sweet treats ranging from chocolate truffles to gingerbread houses! Prices start from AED 99 per class.
