QiDZ at Home: 5 Kids Exercises That Take 5 Minutes

With the kids at home – they may start to get restless and lose focus when they need to be doing school work! A good way to refocus the kids and also keep them moving – is by letting them release some energy! We’re not saying the kids need to run a marathon or anything, but these 5 minute kids exercises will be great for the kids. Especially since it will only take 5 minutes to do. So the kids can take a quick break if they can’t focus and jump it out!
Here are 5 simple movements to get the kids up and moving for 5 minutes. These kids exercises help develop core strength, gross motor skills and endurance.
Use these simple kids exercises when you find they need a break or to re-set their focus:
5 Jumping Jacks
5 Footprint Jumps
Crawl Under Chairs
Balance beam – using towels (roll in a log) OR sticking tape to the floor
Pick an item and throw at a target (basket)
