Al Barsha 2 Park
A cute little park in between Hessa and Umm Suqueim streets and just behind Al Barsha Pond Park. Don’t be deterred by the busy carpark- that’s because there’s a very popular Karak shop at the entrance that serves refreshments all day. It has 2 playgrounds, grass areas for small family picnics and a walking track- for walkers and the scooting tribe.

Al Sufouh Park
A cute, quiet little park near Hessa Street and parallel to Jumeirah Beach Road with 2 shaded playgrounds and a few green patches to set up a picnic in the shade. The park also has a 300m cushioned jogging track around its perimeter, a full-size basketball court and a small football pitch.
Al Khazzan Park & Hapi Cafe
One of the oldest community parks in Dubai, Al Khazzan or Kazzan Park is a small gated family park in Satwa just opposite City Walk that’s packed with all you need for a lovely morning or afternoon with a young family. It has a paved path for the scooting tribe, 2 playground areas set on a sandpit, baby swings and a big tree providing shade overlooking one of the children’s playgrounds so you can watch on while you grab a bite to eat or a coffee.
Dubai Hills Park

Al Barsha Pond Park
Take in the greenery and serenity of this park only a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of SZR. This park is FREE to enter and borders a man made pond. There are water pedalos and activities for the whole family. Bring the kids scooters or bikes down, pack a picnic basket or just let them loose on the outdoor play equipment and sports courts, baby swings are available too!
Space Park Playground
You’ll find this shaded playground in the back streets of Al Barsha 2 with Al Khail Road just behind it. Not only is it gated, modern and clean, it also has a turf floor and not sand so you won’t bring the entire desert home with you! There are slides, swings and climbing frames all under a large shade.
Palm Jumeirah Al Ittihad Park
A great spot to bring the kids down with their scooters or bikes. A beautiful shaded walking and jogging track. It’s lined by restaurants and cafes of The Golden Mile on one side and Shoreline apartments the other. The track borders cascading water features, picnic spots and benches as well as playgrounds and play areas and if you look above you just might catch the monorail as it passes by.
Also great for mums with prams or toddling kids to walk along the cushioned path and stop off at the many playgrounds.
Al Quoz Pond Park
When the weekend arrives and you’re looking for some inspiration on where to go, try Al Quoz Pond Park. With a choice of playgrounds for kids, a running track around the pond for keeping fit and grassy lawns for picnics, there’s something for everyone to do.
