Thrift for Good Palm Pop-Up
Thrift for good is hosting an exciting market-place pop-up event to celebrate community and promote sustainability. The Flower Shaped Lake of Expo
One of the most beautiful man made lakes in Dubai, in the form of a flower amidst sand to resemble the logo of Expo 2020! This scenic spot is located along Al Qudra Road near Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, and can be reached by heading along the D63 route, past the Last Exit and by turning right on the road that leads to Al Qudra Lakes. The lake offers amazing photo-ops, definitely worth a visit!
Flamingo & Swan Lake
Here’s a beautiful spot to connect with nature and enjoy camping with your family or have a picnic by the Flamingo Lake at Al Qudra. You can also grab a meal from The Last Exit food trucks before arriving. This lake is man-made however you’ll enjoy the beautiful nature with few of the species living around the lake including swans, geese, ducks, flamingos and more.
You can also get the chance to see native birds that are on the endangered list.
